GO FURTHER WITH NGSS AND COMMON CORE STANDARDS
Robotics possesses a wealth of educational value on its own, and robotics can drive the innovation of STEM education. When students apply their own creativity, ingenuity, and enthusiasm to their work, they build more than just a robot.
STAGE 0: GET YOUR FEET WET
Students will learn about the included components, basic construction concepts, and how to interact with our hardware and software. Simple pre-written programs are provided so students can immediately see results.
STAGE 1: IT'S ABOUT CODE
Students will learn how to program functions that creates interaction with different sensors and actuators (motors). Becoming familiar with basic coding commands and hardware behavior is key to establishing a strong robotics foundation.
STAGE 2: MEET CONSTRAINTS WITH SUCCESS
Students are presented with mechanical and programming challenges which builds on the skills learned from stages 0 and 1. The projects have greater interaction and complexity requiring students to think about what they are creating and how they are solving problems.
STAGE 3: RESEARCH AND DESIGN
Now that students have learnt the basics, this stage presents more challenging projects where students will have to combine multiple elements to create one function and/or experiment with action/reaction combinations.
STAGE 4-8: Under Development
We can’t wait for makers to get their hands on our more advanced curriculum which will accompanied by additional add-on kits to complement the Robotics Kit. Project will consists of students building their own remote control robots and much more.
